Brief Review of her Literary Work

"I can say that I began to write since I could unite the vowels and the consonants".

I loved to make compositions, anecdotes and mainly stories.
Of my first time, I have left some things, although few.

When I began as educational, I carried out necessary texts for my students, they were published as study material for the Schools of Art Instructors.

Work written:
- A pamphlet about theatrical make-up.
- A pamphlet about the history of the furniture.
- A pamphlet about the wardrobe through the history.

Before the year 1963, when I worked in cuban television, I wrote scripts for different spaces of cuban television.

Already in the year 1973, I sent a titled book "El serranito" to the first competition "La Edad de Oro" with the following stories.
Titles of the stories:
- La Leyenda del Morral.
- Flores, Miel y Oro.
- El Secreto de Mapurí.
- Miedo al Güije.
- Un soldado cumple las órdenes.

The book has never come out entirety, because the stories were separated in two titled anthologies:
" Concurso La Edad de Oro" and "Cuentos para ti"
- Her works are part of the reading books for the grades 4to, 5to and 6to of the primary teaching in Cuba.
- "El Gato sin Amigos" is published by Gente Nueva editorial in Cuba and it is selected by the company of bilingual Rosenberg theater of the State of Texas, to be part of their permanent repertoire.
- Again the bilingual Rosenberg theater chooses"El Gato sin Amigos" to carry out an edition of the theater for children and it titles it ¡APLAUSO!
- Her book "Cuentos de Cuentos" is published and it is translated to the Portuguese, because to be selected to be published in the Islands of Sao Tomé y Príncipe.

. Years later it publishes her book "Sueños de Papel", which is translated to Russian.

. El Mismo Ideal.
. El agua no lava ofensas.
. Por él me llamo Sergio.
. Sin limosnas.

Make her didactic characters El Dr. Polillas and Polillín, to make them in cartoons (they have not been published, only in literary scripts).

. It finishes her book "Alba Furcata", ecologist book that counts the vicissitudes of an owl (it has not still been published).
. She carries out a collection of books of social behavior for children from 5 to 8 years.
. El primo no puedo.
. Lorito vió la película.
. El gallo empujón.
. Yo lo se todo.
. Mi padre es el mejor.

She writes for different magazines and publications and it follows her ecologist work through the education of the children.

. "La Ranita Perdida" it is another story of this cut.
. Her most recent book leaves behind the literature for children to be placed in the world of the stories for adults, conserving the freshness and the simplicity of the oral narration.
"Dentro del Recuerdo" and "Cuentos de Gustavo" is a beautiful homage to the author's father that in saying of herself "it was by nature a narrator" it published it the Unión-UNEAC Publications. Through the Editorial Linotipia Bolívar and Cía S. en C. Bogotá, Colombia.

In these moments she is finishing another book that continue Cuentos de Gustavo and that it has not still titled.
Also, following the family memoirs, she is refreshing her great-grandfather's memory, a rural mambí that lived the last days of the war of the 1895.

Literary Interests

- To edit the books and to publish others finished and in preparation.
- To participate in events and international literary meetings.
