She was born in July 11 1940 in El Caney de Santiago de Cuba.
- She makes primary studies in this city.
- With a defined vocation from very young, for the painting and the modeling one, begins her studies of plastic arts in San Alejandro National School in La Habana, where she obtains a scholarship for opposition.
- With this scholarship, she makes all her studies as painter and sculptress.
- When finishing her studies, she dedicates a great part from her time to teaching.
- She works as teacher of make-up, of wardrobe and theatrical atmosphere, in the first schools of art instructors in Cuba.
- In 1963 she begins her works as artistic adviser of Cuban television.
Alternating this work inside the enviromental departments with the creation of the literary scripts for television spaces as"Tiempo y Espacio" and "El Cuento".
- In 1969 she passes to work as designer and scripter of exhibitions of Pabellón Cuba and at the same time she prepares her particular study in Obispo street 408 in La Habana Vieja.
- Already in her study, she begins to work in her personal work, so much in the painting as the sculptu/ceramic.
- In these years she dedicated long time to learning of the lathe potter and it alternates her work with regular visits to the shop of ceramic of Dr. Rodríguez de la Cruz, where it decorated great quantity of pieces so much ornamental as utilitarian.
- The domain of the lathe allows her to carry out its sculptu-ceramic ones, starting of the principle of the hole in the sculptural forms that later will go to the oven to be baked. This principle is of the biggest utility in the creation of sculptures in ceramic.
She has been invited by different institutions of different countries as lecturer of topics as the panorama of the Cuban culture, the ceramic and their techniques, and themes on the sculptu/ceramist.

- About this sculptural modality she has also imparted several courses so much in Cuba as abroad and she has had invited artists in her shop, where she has shared with them experiences to penetrate them in the sculptural world of the ceramic of great format.

Her exhibitions are numerous in countries like Holland, Spain, Germany, Hungary, France, Italy, Mexico and Venezuela.

In 1973 she obtains premium in the competition La Edad de Oro wih her book"El Serranito", for that time her work begins as writer of infantile stories, where it has published 13 works in different languages (see Literature, purposes and interests).

In 1979 she graduates in the University of Havana as Licensed in Art, specialised in Latin American Art.
. For this time her murals of great format begin, so much in ceramic flagstone as in high reliefs.
. She has carried out more than 30 murals, in Cuba and in other countries, which have been placed in institutions so much cultural as recreational, among them is remarkable her historical mural about the student fights of the University of Havana, of 350 m2, carried out in pills of ceramic sandstone.
. The garden sources have also attracted the world of the artist's work and they have made then worthy of different prizes, among those is remarkable her First 1982 Prize in Ceramic of UNEAC with her fountain Fantasía de Coral.

- From 1977 she belongs to AIAP (Association of International Plastic Artists).
